MicroStrategy, a big name in this space, has already bought $10 billion worth of Bitcoin. They plan to buy $42 billion more by using their company’s equity. Other companies like Bitcoin miners Mara and Riot are also following this approach. They issue convertible notes (a type of loan) to raise funds for buying BTC. Recently, Metaplanet announced a plan to raise $31.8 million through bonds to speed up their Bitcoin purchases.
